National Yo-Yo Contest in Chico, California.
New for this Year:

A player may compete in one or more of the Championship divisions.
Players who plan on competing in any of the Championship
divisions are reminded that they must pre-register
for the contest. Go to the registration
page for the forms.
There will be no compulsory tricks in the preliminary rounds. A
1-minute freestyle preliminary (with some required elements) will
advance the best players to the final in each division. League ceded
1A players will not need to compete in the preliminary and are directly
ceded into the final. Players in the final will perform a 3-minute
freestyle.
The Sport division is comprised of 50 compulsory string and looping
tricks. A player works up two 25-trick ladders with one miss allowed
on each ladder.
This is the third year of the National Yo-Yo League and the regional
contests. The winner of the 1A division from each regional contest
earns a ceded spot in the final as well as two nights lodging at
the Holiday Inn during the contest.
Any player has the opportunity to enter the National Yo-Yo Contest
and earn a spot in the final.
The National Spin-Top Contest will be held in conjunction with
the contest and will crown the 2004 National Spin-Top Champion.
Please support the Saturday night Awards Dinner and help
recognize the individuals who have significantly contributed
to the yo-yo community.
There is always a good meal, and plenty of time to celebrate
the happenings of the day. Your attendance at this dinner
allows the contest registration to be free.
Remember: Winning is a tribute to all players who attempted the
challenge.
